Santo von der Neuen Welt-Details

A top show dog that can really do schutzhund

Santo is that rare combination of beauty, brains and drive. He has consistently finished at the top of his class throughout his career. He was the 2004 Midwest Regional Youth Sieger at 17 months under SV Judge Rene Rudin, the breed warden of Switzerland. He was SG 1 under SV Judges Hans Joachim Dux, Richard Brauch and Morton Goldfarb. At the 2004 USA Sieger Show under SV Vice President Erich Orschler, Santo was SG4. He was the 2005 North Central Regional Open Class Sieger under SV Judge Dieter Oeser and in August of 2006, he became the North Central Regional Working Class Sieger under SV Judge Franz Peter Knaul edging out VA dogs such as Panzer III von Mittelwest and Tim vom Bauhofer-Land. In 2007 at the North American Sieger Show, Santo was the highest placing American Bred dog and also the highest placed dog who was handler owned and trained.  In 2008, Santo once again became the Midwest Regional Working Class Sieger under SV Judge Rainer Mast topping such dogs as VA Gusto von Mittelwest and Connerz von Mittelwest. And in 2009, Santo won the North Central Regional Conformation Show Working Class Sieger Title under USCA Judge Johannes Grewe edging out a fine German Sieger Show V rated Hill Farbenspiel son.

But Santo is more than a good looking dog. Under the watchful eyes of SV Judge Klaus Ambrosius, who for more than 30 years was a senior instructor at a German Government Police Dog Training School, Santo scored an almost perfect 98 in SchH3 protection and a 94 in obedience. If you are looking for a dog that can do it all, look no further. Körmeisters Rainer Mast and Hans-Peter Fetten, after seeing Santo's protection work, both commented, "He is absolutely clear in the head. This is the kind of dog we want to breed to." And both recommended that local breeders take advantage of a dog of Santo's rare quality while they still have a chance.

Breedings / Upcoming Litters

There are already several outstanding litters from Santo with females of different lines including, Irene von Bad Boll (Dux Valcuvia), Geisha v.d. Neuen Welt (Neptune v Bad Boll), Uzi v.d. Mausespitz (Jaguar v.d. Mausespitz), Iduna von Bad Boll (Dux Valcuvia) and Eska v.d. Bildeiche (Zoltan Haus vom Geltinger), mother of V-10 (Germany) Yannox von Bad Boll. Santo has sired nearly 100 puppies. Many are outstanding show prospects who have finished at the top of their class at recent shows, for example:

The 2009 North Central Regional Working Class Class Siegerin V-1 Heska von der Neuen Welt, SchH3. (Pictured on left) as well as SG1 Winston von der Neuen Welt, SG1 Anwyn and SG2 Anni von Isengard to name but a few. His off-spring invariably show his high drive which make them excellent schutzhund prospects. (Heska got her first SchH title at age 2 after only 5 months of training)
